Mohan Babu's Irresponsibility Costs Him Dear

Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) activists yesterday attacked the shooting unit of a Telugu movie produced by Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of noted actor M Mohan Babu at Kompally area here in Hyderabad, police said.

Raising pro-Telangana slogans, the activists forcibly entered the house where shooting was underway and allegedly damaged equipment and threw chairs, they said. Police, however, intervened to avert any major loss to the equipment.

"A group of around 20 Telangana activists forcibly entered the house where the shooting of the movie was going on and stopped the unit from going ahead with shooting," a police officer told PTI.

Mohan Babu and Lakshmi, who have joined the movement for unity of Andhra Pradesh recently toured the districts of coastal Andhra and Raayalaseema regions and visited the hunger-strike camps of anti-Telangana supporters.

Till now, the Telugu Film Industry never got into the separate state issue. With Mohan Babu irresponsibly supporting a United State, he had unnecessarily provoked anger from his own fans - the same way Chiranjeevi did.

Already, Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan Tej's movies are blocked in the Telangana Region and his cousin, Allu Arjun's movies are stopped too. Now, Mohan Babu had joined the bhajana mandali of Samaikya Andhra. They are people who are in responsible position. Before making any statement, they have to be ready to face repercussions. They cannot cry foul after making idiotic statements.

Even I write a lot in my blog which is purely pro-telangana and I know that I would be getting lot of hate mail from Andhra (which Iam getting). Iam ready to face anything and similarly people like Mohan Babu should also be ready to face the music and cannot cry foul.

Politics of Convenience

Past week has been very eventful in Indian politics as well as Andhra Pradesh politics.

Indian Politics:
As the Communists have decided to withdraw support to the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government for going ahead with Nuclear Deal with the Americans, Congress political spin masters have started looking for support from political parties who have supported them in the past.
Noted among them is Mulayam Singh Yadav led Samajwadi Party with a net of 39 Loksabha Member of Parliamentarians.

A wily and cunning politician, Mulayam Singh Yadav is a very well known Anti-Hindu being pro-Muslim as there is a huge population of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh. It is a well known fact that Muslims enmasse vote to his party and Hindus hate him for firing and killing hundreds of Karsevaks during the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992. He was a darling of the Communists but he is also known for hopping alliances from supporting the pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party to supporting the Communists and the Congress.

Till two weeks back, there were war of words between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress and now it seems they are patching up for political survival. Good to see the Congress true colors.

Andhra Pradesh Politics:

The Telugu Desam Party is beset with leaders queuing up for other political parties. While senior leader, Devender Goud left the party for the sake of forming a separate political party fighting for Telangana, other leaders have gone out to join yet to be formed political party of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. There is an almost huge rebellion to happen in TDP and Naidu is fighting for his political survival. At the same time, Telangana Rashtra Samithi head, K.Chandra Sekhar Rao is also fighting for his political survival as he lost too many seats in the recently concluded by-elections.

TDP is a party known for its stance against a separate Telangana State. After 8 years, Naidu had a one-to-one talk with KCR. Political pundits say there is going to be a pact between both the parties "IF" Naidu supports a separate Telangana. This would be a dramatic political decision which would have far reaching implications.

Naidu sees Chiranjeevi as a probable politician who is going to challenge his political survival while KCR sees Devendar Goud as one.

Let's keep a close watch on more developments that is going to happen in the name of democracy !!

Will Chiranjeevi Jump Into Politics ??

This is the question that is ringing in the minds of everyone in Andhra Pradesh and also in the head quarters of some of the national parties in New Delhi.
Everybody, starting from Politicians to actors to common public is talking about this issue except one person - Chiranjeevi himself !!
He is maintaining a strict silence on this issue and saying that he would talk at a right time.

His younger brother, Naga Babu (who has acted in couple of movies) is busy talking to Chiranjeevi Fans Associations across the state.
I think he also talk to the common public and conduct a secret poll in the state to ascertain the mood of the public.

Will Chiranjeevi Succeed as a politician ?? Will public support him ?? Can he gain a majority in the assembly if he jumps into politics ??
Does Chiranjeevi have command and charisma of attracting voters ??
Can he convert his fans into voters ??
Will he join an existing political party or launch his own party ??
Questions ! Questions ! More Questions !
Answer - Fingers crossed !!

It is a world wide phenomenon of actors becoming politicians and ruling state assemblies and at many places, the country itself.
The legendary Telugu actor, N.T. Rama Rao successfully contested and won a thumping majority in the state assembly and he had left a very important mark in the state politics and also in the Central Government by stressing about Telugu Pride and how the Hindi speaking states and politicians are looking down on the South.
He could able to successfully convert his charisma into votes thus forming first non-congress Government in Andhra Pradesh when his Telugu Desam Party won a comfortable majority in the state assembly.

Can Chiranjeevi re-enact the same scene ?? Quite possible in movies but very very difficult in politics where you already have lot of players and the competition is quite high among the existing political parties.
There is not much scope for a new party - but not sure if Chiranjeevi wants to test the waters.

Personally, Iam a great fan of Chiranjeevi with his exceptional acting and dance skills.
He worked hard up the ladder by acting first as a villain in his initial years of acting career and slowly developing his dance and acting skills, became a Hero.
He is a very down to earth person like Tamilnadu's Rajanikanth, Karnataka's Raj Kumar and Kerala's Mamooty.

Yesterday, when Chiranjeevi's fans (??) attacked another actor Rajsekhar for his remarks against Chiranjeevi, Chiru (as he is famously called as) went to Rajsekhar's house, waited for the actor for 45 minutes at his house and personally apologized to him before the media.
That shows how humble and concerned he is !

Rajsekhar, who is a supporter of Congress Party said that he would not support Chiranjeevi in politics as he is not having experience.
The media had blown it out of proportions fuelling passions among Chiranjeevi fans who attacked Rajsekhar in Hyderabad.

Personally Iam against Chiranjeevi coming into politics.
Politics is pretty messy and it would unnecessarily bring down his image.
Instead, he can concentrate on the good work he already started through Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.

Iam a regular blood donor at CCT !!

Along with Blood Bank, he can open Non-Profit based Schools, Colleges and many more.
His name would be remembered through the generations for his good work.
It should be noted that some politicians from his caste have indicated to come out of the party they are representing of Chiranjeevi comes into politics.
Chiranjeevi is liked, loved and respected by millions irrespective of caste or religion.
Before jumping into politics, Chiranjeevi has to take this into consideration.
If not, he would become another caste leader.

Looks like everyone, along with me is talking - it's high time Chiranjeevi takes a decision now !!
