Trip to Vargal
Yesterday, we went to a place called Vargal which is around 60KM from Hyderabad. Goddess Saraswati Temple is located there. It is developed and maintained by Kanchi Shanker Mutt and there is a Veda Paathashaala where almost 70 children are learning Vedas.
It's a very beautiful temple built on a hillock. There is a lift facility for going up to the temple at a cost of Rs.5/-.
Here is the route:
Hyderabad -> Secunderabad -> Jubilee Bus Station -> Karkhana -> Tirumalagiri -> Alwal -> Hakimpet Airforce Station -> Shameerpet Lake -> Turakapally -> Take a diversion on the left 5 KM before Pragnapur on the Karimnagar-Ramagundam Highway.
Heavy downpour added much beauty to the picturesque landscape.
Great place for Hyderabadis who are used to mechanical urban life where there is very less space for fresh air.
Bought nice cookies at Vac's Bakery at Tirumalagiri. Very famous bakery in this part of the city!
